Job Title: Manager - Mastering Services

Job Summary:
The Manager of Mastering Services is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end mastering process, ensuring the highest quality in film projection and sound. This role involves managing a team of professionals, adhering to industry standards, and continuously improving processes to deliver exceptional audio-visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Adherence and Improvement:
    • Ensure the team adheres to established mastering processes and protocols.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Monitoring Film and Sound Projection Standards:
    • Ensure the consistent application of industry standards in film projection and sound quality.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in mastering technologies and integrate them into the workflow.
Weekly Release Planning and Organization:
    • Plan and organize the delivery and operations for weekly releases, ensuring timely execution.
    • Coordinate with other departments to align release schedules and manage resources effectively.
Supervision of Daily Operations:
    • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the mastering department to ensure a smooth workflow.
    • Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Technical and Functional Support:
    • Provide ongoing technical and functional guidance to team members to support their professional development and operational success.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Implementation of Best Practices:
    • Drive the implementation of best practices throughout all stages of the operational process to ensure efficiency and quality.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mastering services.
Qualifications:
  • Any UG & Above
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mastering services or a related area.
  • In-depth knowledge of film projection and sound quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
