Subtitle Writer - (Tamil to English)
Qube Cinema Technology is looking for writers to join their fast-growing subtitles division. Candidate will be required to write clear, grammatically accurate, and high-quality English subtitles for Tamil movies. The ideal candidate must have excellent language skills and an eye for detail. Ability to read and write in Tamil is a must. Knowlege of other South Indian languages is a bonus but not a requirement. Open to freshers. Ready to work in office from Monday to Friday. (Saturdays will be on a need to work basis.) Consultant contract will be for 3 months initially. Depending on the work proficiency we will extend the contract / make an offer to join as a full-time employee.
Key responsibilities:
-Transcribing and timing subtitles for movies/web series accurately.
-Excellent writing and editing skills to produce high-quality subtitles.
-Strong eye for detail and ability to check their work for errors and inconsistencies.
-Adhering to specific formatting guidelines required for various platforms.
-Creative writing experience will be a big bonus.
